As a Business Development Manager - Broker, you will utilize your experience working with a portfolio of Brokers to introduce business to Barclays from both new and existing clients. You will visit clients at their premises to understand their strategic ambitions, representing Barclays and exploring how we can support their lending needs. Flexibility and effective diary management are essential.

Purpose of the role

Accountabilities
1. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, market trends, and customer needs, developing strategies for growth.
2. Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events.
3. Manage existing client relationships to understand their needs and identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities.
4. Develop and execute strategies to acquire new business, including proposals, presentations, and negotiations.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
6. Forecast KPIs and track progress, providing regular reports on activities and pipeline status.
7. Contribute to business development strategies to meet revenue targets.
