Job Description
3. Prepare, analyse, and report monthly financial information, ensuring timely, accurate, complete, and compliant reporting.
4. Manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a supportive and professional working environment.
5. Ensure UK compliance with internal controls and maintain an appropriate risk management system covering all financial, legal, and tax implications.
6. Ensure accurate financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
7. Develop and implement financial control procedures.
8. Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
9. Manage UK tax compliance and governance activities, including VAT and Corporation Tax liabilities.
10. Liaise with the company's tax advisers and head office tax team. Develop processes for new legislation.
11. Liaise with stakeholders to present financial information and reports.
12. Identify opportunities for process improvements.
13. Support the company's strategic objectives through robust financial management.
The Successful Applicant
14. ACA, CA, ACCA OR CIMA qualified
15. Practical experience in controlling/accounting/audit and IFRS/FRS 101
16. Critical thinker with analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
17. SAP experience desirable
18. Strong communicator
19. High level of personal ownership and autonomy
20. Prioritisation to ensure all key deadlines are met
