Overview
We are recruiting a Static SMART Physiotherapist to join our team with a focus on delivering patient-centred care using evidence-based practice within the SMART service. The role supports service development and works within an integrated team, with professional supervision from inpatient orthopaedic therapists and day-to-day management from nursing staff.
Responsibilities
* Provide excellent patient-centred care within the SMART service, utilizing evidence-based practice to ensure high-quality outcomes.
* Act as a Senior Physiotherapist within an evolving team, supporting learning and development of oneself and colleagues.
* Work in a nurse-led service with professional supervision from inpatient orthopaedic therapists; contribute to day-to-day senior management alongside nursing staff.
* Manage the orthopaedic caseload with the potential to contribute to the development of wider services (e.g., respiratory, surgical) and consideration of virtual wards and admission avoidance.
* Engage with the organisation’s values and reflect them throughout practice and employment.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist level experience.
* Post holder MUST own and be a car driver.
* Commitment to continuing professional development and being proactive in your own learning and that of the team.
