The Role
1. Analyse tender information and assess construction methods, risks and opportunities
2. Price civil engineering works from first principles (earthworks, drainage, ducting, paving)
3. Prepare construction programmes/sequencing (ASTA training available)
4. Manage subcontract enquiries and evaluate supply chain responses
5. Coordinate bid inputs and contribute to winning tender strategies
6. Ensure timely,pliant tender submissions
About You
7. Strong estimating experience within civil engineering
8. Ability to measure quantities, set bills and work independently
9. Understanding of bid writing and buildingpetitive quotations
10. Knowledge of Conquest desirable
11. Goodmunication skills and confidence working to deadlines
12. Transferable construction estimating experience also considered.
