About the Role
We are looking for kind, positive people to join our team and support Tosin, who lives with bipolar disorder and learning disabilities. If you’ve got experience in mental health, learning disabilities or trauma-informed care, that’s a big plus!
Responsibilities
* Everyday stuff like cooking, cleaning, shopping, and going to appointments
* Managing money
* Having someone around at night to chat with and make sure Tosin is safe and comfy
Interests
* Eclectic music — all sorts, from pop to rock to RnB
* Long walks in nature
* Karaoke and dancing
* Christian faith — it means a lot to Tosin, so we’d love someone who can support with that too
Available Roles
* Waking Night Support Worker - 36 hours a week (3 shifts from 8pm-8am, days vary)
* Day Support Worker - 24+ hours a week (shifts between 8am-8pm, days vary, contracted hours negotiable)
You’ll need to be flexible with your schedule — we work across all days of the week, Monday to Sunday.
Please note that for this particular role, a male colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010
How to Apply
If you’re friendly, fun, and up for helping Tosin live their best life, we’d love to meet you! Curious about the role or need reasonable adjustments during the process? Reach out to our Recruitment Specialist, Eva Otto, at recruitment.region1@c-i-c.co.uk.
We’re proud to be an Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident employer.
