Claims Continuous Improvement Consultant: Ageas Insurance have an exciting opportunity available to join the Claims team as a Continuous Improvement Consultant. Working within a dynamic Claims function that is passionate about innovating and improving what we do for our customers alongside protecting indemnity spend, the Claims Continuous Improvement Consultant will be vital in pushing forward and facilitating initiatives and changes in Claims.

As a Claims Continuous Improvement Consultant, you will use your skills to drive improvement, identifying opportunities for positive and systemic change. You will also be responsible for supporting a team of Analysts in the timely delivery of all allocated change, reviews and other strategic wor

Main Responsibilities :

1. Lead and deliver continuous improvement, applying systemic thinking to identify and remove failure demand, improve processes and facilitate process, organisational and IT system change
2. Contribute to the planning and delivery of the Claims Operating Plan, which involves leading initiatives, creating and maintaining governance, change management plans and leading the delivery of objectives.
3. Provide change management support to internal stakeholders for identified projects and change, developing sponsorship models, developing, facilitating and implementing plans, monitoring implementation and tracking the impact of change
4. Lead and contribute to the planning, prioritisation and facilitation of delivery of process and IT system change, liaising with Claims and non Claims areas including IT / BI / L&D.
5. Provide effective internal and external communications and provide timely feedback to the Claims Continuous Improvement Manager and other non Claims stakeholders.
6. To be responsible for, or assist where appropriate, recruitment, discipline, training and development needs of staff in the team including supporting and developing direct reports to maximise their contribution and potential.
7. Ensure compliance across all records, in line with company procedures and ensure fair treatment of customers

Skills and experience required:

8. Experience of leading Project and Change Management, meetings and workshops, performance management, training & development.
9. Excellent written skills to deal with complex report writing and plans. Must be fluent and confident in communicating with both internal and external stakeholders, customers and staff. Persuasive and convincing with arguments. Consultative, collaborative, approachable and persistent. Good at facilitating, probing facts and challenging assumptions. Highly respected and trusted by other
10. A substantive understanding of Claims processes, systemic thinking and change management methodologies, along with sufficient insurance, legal and/or business practice knowledge to be able to evaluate the claims process and decision making. Sound insurance knowledge and skills gained from working in an insurance Claims or Claims supporting environment. High level of knowledge of Project and Change Management methodologies and practices
11. A high level of numeric ability to understand, evaluate and interpret complex claims, financial and workflow related data, to understand and analyse business impacts, monitor impact of changes and benefit realisation and deal with budget and workflow volumes.

12. Holder of a degree or industry/management qualification desirable. Theoretical insurance knowledge obtained by success in a CII qualification would be an advantage.
