About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our team at Nora,Canary Wharf.

Responsibilities:
* Deliver expert,warm,and professional wine and beverage service that creates memorable guest experiences.
* Guide guests through the wine and beverage list,making thoughtful recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
* Maintain strong knowledge of our wine,spirits,and beverage offerings,including ingredients and pairing suggestions.
* Assist in developing and maintaining the beverage list,staying current with trends and offerings.
* Support the team with positive energy,leadership,and a team-first approach.
* Ensure all tables and service stations are prepared to Nora's high standards.
* Manage multiple tables and service flow efficiently and calmly under pressure.
* Handle guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and care.
* Process payments and transactions accurately.
* Lead by example,supporting team development and cultivating a culture of growth and excellence.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a professional,high-quality restaurant or beverage environment,with a focus on wine service.
* Deep passion for wine,spirits,hospitality,and guest experience.
* Strong knowledge of wine regions,styles,and pairing principles.
* Excellent communication skills with a confident,guest-focused approach.
* Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic,fast-paced setting.
* Positive,professional,and collaborative attitude.
* Flexibility to work evenings,weekends,and holidays.
* Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
