Main Purpose of the Position: As a Shift Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and continuous operation of our plant's electrical systems and equipment. You will work on a 4 on 4 off shift rotation, including both day and night shifts, with a generous holiday allowance and additional rota days. Key Responsibilities: Installation & Maintenance: Install and maintain high-speed industrial process equipment, power, lighting, control, and PLC logic controls. Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical equipment, components, transducers, and complex timing and inspection devices. Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on assigned electrical systems to prevent malfunctions. Optimization: Ensure effective equipment operation through proper line control programming and suggest improvements.
