Talent Guardian is supporting a food manufacturing business in the search for a hands-on Site Engineer. This role is critical to ensuring production equipment and site services operate safely, reliably, and efficiently in a BRCGS-regulated environment.
You'll take ownership of maintenance, breakdown response, and engineering improvements, playing a key role in minimising downtime and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across production and site equipment
Diagnose faults quickly to maintain production uptime
Lead and support engineering improvements and equipment upgrades
Ensure all engineering work complies with food safety, health & safety, and legal requirements
Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records
Support internal and external audits where required About You
Proven experience as a Site or Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing or food production
Strong mechanical and/or electrical background
Confident fault-finder with a practical, hands-on approach
Good understanding of food safety and UK health & safety requirements
