This pivotal permanent role, based in Cheltenham with hybrid working, places you directly within the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Managing Director. Commercial Portfolio Management: Oversee and strategically manage current and future project commercial aspects.
Advise on commercial positions for major campaigns and growth initiatives.
Bid & Proposition Development: Collaborate on Bid/No-Bid decisions and formulate robust commercial proposals.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Lead comprehensive commercial risk identification and management.
Commercial Documentation Sign-off: Authorise and maintain a central register of all commercial instruments.
UK Defence Sector Commercial Management: Proven track record in a similar senior commercial role within UK defence.
Strategic Commercial Acumen: Strong financial skills, deep knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends.
Organisational & Project Management: Highly organised with a strong understanding of project and risk management.
Security Clearance Requirement: Must be a Sole British Citizen and either currently hold or be eligible for UK Government Security Clearance (minimum SC level).
