Powered by Neighbourhood Watch Network and Groundwork South - Communities Prepared, the Bristol Youth Community Action Project is all about empowering young people to actively address personal safety, crime prevention, and community resilience (e.g. climate change, emergency preparedness). What does the ‘Youth Community Action Volunteer’ role involve?
This role is a chance for young people to drive real change and help shape Bristol to be a safer, resilient, and better place to live.
As a Youth Community Action Volunteer, you will:
1. Engage in up to 8 project workshop sessions (mix of in-person and online) across 3 months from February-April 2025
2. Voice your concerns and problem-solving ideas about crime, safety, wellbeing, and community resilience issues in Bristol
3. Work with local Neighbourhood Watch Groups and community decision-makers to pilot a community action initiative

Application Deadline
The closing date for applications is Friday 31st January 2025, though they may close a little earlier if we receive an overwhelming response. We will be actively reviewing and responding to all applications from Thursday 2nd January 2025.
