An established and highly respected law firm in Salisbury is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their busy and friendly Residential Property team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in conveyancing support who takes pride in being organised, reliable, and client-focused.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing full administrative and secretarial support to residential property fee earners
Typing letters, contracts, leases, and legal documents (audio typing experience essential)
Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and mortgage lenders
Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
Handling pre- and post-completion documentation
Carrying out local authority and other searches
Opening new files and preparing standard quotes for property transactions
Maintaining accurate records and assisting in managing key dates and deadlines
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a conveyancing legal support role
Strong typing and IT skills, including case management systems
Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking abilities
A proactive, team-oriented approach with a keen eye for detail
Confidence handling client communications and managing a busy workload
