Management Accountant
Location: Melton Mowbray
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (37.5 hours)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate in their later stages of AAT or newly AAT qualified professional with some previous exposure to management accounts, looking to build a long-term career in a supportive and forward-thinking team.
What you’ll be doing:
* Maintaining fixed asset registers and managing monthly depreciation
* Reconciling stock, bank accounts, intercompany balances, and VAT
* Posting journals and managing prepayments, accruals, and WIP
* Reviewing nominal ledgers and ensuring clean month-end close
* Supporting audits, forecasting, and internal reporting deadlines
What we’re looking for:
* A solid understanding of accounting principles
* Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Sage 200 (ideally)
* Someone who thrives on accuracy, deadlines, and getting things done
* A proactive, flexible team player with great communication skills
