Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mobile Cleaner to join our team. The role involves traveling to and from multiple properties to clean communal areas and void rooms. The successful candidate will ensure all assigned areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Cleaning Communal Areas: Regularly clean and maintain communal spaces such as hallways, staircases, lobbies, elevators, and shared facilities (e.g., laundry rooms, bin areas) to ensure they are tidy, hygienic, and presentable.
* Void Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and prepare vacant rooms or properties (e.g., apartments, offices) for new occupants, including deep cleaning tasks such as sanitizing surfaces, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting.
* Travel Between Properties: Efficiently travel to various locations as assigned, using a company vehicle or personal transport (mileage reimbursement provided where applicable).
* Waste Management: Empty bins, sort recyclables, and ensure proper disposal of waste in accordance with property guidelines.
* Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and report any hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
* Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed, ensuring stock levels are maintained and reporting shortages to the supervisor.
* Customer Service: Interact professionally with residents, property managers, and colleagues, addressing any concerns or requests courteously.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of cleaning schedules, tasks completed, and any incidents or issues encountered during shifts.
Requirements
* Experience: Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
* Travel: Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation (if not using a company vehicle). Willingness to travel between multiple properties within [City/Region].
* Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards and noticing small details.
* Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines across multiple locations.
