Compliance Manager – Northampton – Global Company**
We are currently recruiting for a global construction manufacturer who employ over 10,000 people, turnover around £6 billion globally and are known for their quality and innovation. This is a senior position in the business for a Compliance Manager which is essential for safeguarding the company’s operational integrity. This is a role which gives you a lot of autonomy, you will develop policies and oversee all aspects of the compliance team.
Develop, implement and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
Oversee and conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify compliance gaps.
Manage and mentor the members of the compliance team ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, industry associations, and external auditors on compliance matters.
Accountable for enhancing and maintaining company standards for carrying out site surveys and supporting the Site Technicians' smooth running and completion of projects.
Encourage and drive a culture of continuous improvement and compliance awareness throughout the organisation.
In-depth understanding of building regulations and standards applicable to the construction/building materials industry.
Has a strong understanding of compliance with a technical product.
Someone who can communicate clearly verbally and in writing on what they need.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including major complaint investigation.
Strong attention to detail, resilience, self-motivation, and a flexible, team-player approach.
