Key Responsibilities: Assess and process Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction claims. Administer and collect Council Tax liabilities and handle overpayments. Support vulnerable residents, offering guidance and signposting where appropriate. Deliver high-quality customer service across various contact channels. Contribute to service improvement, performance tracking, and legislative compliance. Mentor new staff and support less experienced colleagues (SO2 responsibilities). Assist in preparing responses to complaints and liaise with external stakeholders.
