We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist with specialist knowledge in Critical Care, Surgery and Respiratory medicine to join our integrated Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy team for a fixed term contract until 21/06/27.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise to respiratory and surgical wards and support the wider Critical Care, Surgery and Respiratory team.
- Facilitate holistic assessments and discharge planning in conjunction with mobility and functional assessments for both acute and complex multi‑pathology patients.
- Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based practice and actively participate in weekend working rotas.
- Manage a daily caseload while supporting junior staff in gaining and maintaining their competencies.
- Form an integral part of the senior leadership team and support professional development of the service.
Qualifications
- Proven occupational therapy experience in the field of respiratory care.
- Specialist knowledge of Critical Care, Surgery and Respiratory medicine.
- Leadership skills to deliver evidence‑based practice and guide junior staff.
