Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Maintenance Electrician for a leading industrial business based in Llanbydder. This permanent, full-time role is ideal for a time-served electrician with experience in heavy industry or manufacturing.
Key Duties:
Carry out efficient repair of electrical breakdowns.
Perform planned preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
Maintain motors, switchgear, panels, and electrical systems safely.
Support the installation and commissioning of electrical projects.
Operate and maintain electrical equipment including PLCs and control systems.
Identify faults quickly and implement effective solutions.
Adhere to health & safety procedures and company policies.
Work collaboratively with other departments to meet operational goals.
Requirements:
Apprenticeship served in electrical maintenance.
17th or 18th Edition of BS 7671.
2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
Experience working in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment (advantageous).
Computer literacy and ability to use maintenance systems.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Flexible, proactive, and safety-focused approach.
