We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join our MSAT team. In this role, you will provide technical, engineering and scientific expertise to enable clinical and commercial manufacturing, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.
Your responsibilities in this role would be:
1. Working independently on cross-functional activities to support the introduction of new products on existing manufacturing processes
2. Taking a lead role in defining and delivering requirements for introduction of new processes, projects and equipment
3. Leading scientific/technical troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to determine root cause of events and identify suitable mitigation to prevent re-occurrence
4. Being primary point of contact for technical support for assigned product(s) within OXB portfolio and Subject Matter Expert (SME)
5. Leading client facing projects as an MSAT representative
We are looking for:
6. A degree in a Life Sciences or Biochemical Engineering discipline and/or significant proven experience in GMP biopharmaceutical or gene therapy manufacturing processing
7. An understanding of health, safety and environmental aspects of the work carried out and ideally experience in using process hazard analysis (PHA) methodologies such as FMEA, HAZOP and HACCP
8. Knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements to enable clinical and commercial manufacture.
9. Experience using statistical data analysis tools such as JMP® and/or Minitab® is desirable
10. Understanding of process control and automation would be ideal
