This is your chance to contribute to a meaningful cause—providing therapeutic environments for children and young people who need them most. What you’ll be doing: Helping to maintain the outdoor areas across our Amegreen homes, equine therapy centre, and school sites, ensuring they remain welcoming and well‑kept. Keeping lawns mowed, trimming hedges and trees, and making sure our grounds always look their best. Carrying out hands‑on repairs, including fence building, maintaining animal enclosures, and completing painting tasks when needed. Looking after tools and equipment so everything stays clean, safe, and ready to use. Completing regular health and safety checks, preventative maintenance, and any ad‑hoc repairs that arise. Following all Health and Safety guidelines to keep our sites safe for everyone. Calm under pressure, organised, and capable of prioritising workloads. Holder of a full, clean UK driver’s license. Able to join a team and be willing to attend urgent calls outside normal hours on occasion Kind, empathetic, and comfortable working in a care setting. Familiar with COSHH regulations and safe maintenance practices. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm (excluding a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). Flexibility required to work occasional weekends to support urgent ground maintenance needs across the service.
