Overview
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a secondary school in St Helens who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teacher of Food Technology. This full-time teaching position is to start immediately and will continue at least until October half-term.
Responsibilities
* Teach KS3 and KS4 Food Technology to pupils of mixed ability
* Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
* Position will run until at least October half-term, with potential for extension
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Food Technology at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate pupils
* An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
Salary
Up to £232.56 per day (dependent on experience)
