Overview

Marston Holdings is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the growth of Videalert and Vortex solutions, collaborating with the wider team to deliver cutting-edge technology and BPO services across the UK. Location: UK (Remote-based with travel). Full-time, competitive salary + car allowance.


What You’ll Be Doing

* Take ownership of your territory with a strategic business development plan to achieve and exceed targets.
* Manage the full sales cycle - from lead generation and solution selling to closing high-value deals.
* Build long-term relationships with Local Authorities, transport bodies, and private sector clients.
* Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for software (MNPS) and BPO services, driving cross selling and integrated solutions.
* Stay ahead of the market - monitoring trends, competitor activity, and sharing insights to shape our strategy.


What We’re Looking For

* A proven track record of B2B business development or field sales success, ideally in tech, SaaS, IoT, or software solutions.
* Strong experience in territory planning, relationship management, and consultative selling.
* Proficient in using CRM systems (Dynamics CRM).
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Resilient, self-motivated, and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
* A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel extensively across your region.
* Selling into the Public Sector (Local Authorities, Transport Authorities).
* Knowledge of ANPR, traffic management, parking enforcement, IoT sensors, or smart city solutions. (Desirable)
* Experience with cross-selling integrated solutions or BPO/software offerings.
* An existing network within the sector.
