About the Role
We’re looking for a driven New Business Lead to grow our Marketplace by sourcing, onboarding, and supporting new sellers. You’ll identify high-potential partners, guide them through onboarding, and ensure they’re set up for long-term success. Reporting to the Marketplace Manager, you’ll play a key role in expanding our product offering and enhancing customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Source and recruit sellers in priority categories
* Develop acquisition strategies and manage the full sales cycle
* Conduct market analysis to spot trends and opportunities
* Vet sellers for compliance and quality standards
* Support sellers through onboarding and initial launch
* Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth integration
* Represent the business at trade shows and webinars
* Track KPIs and produce performance reports
* Deliver training and manage seller enquiries via Zendesk
* Lead and mentor team members to drive results
What We’re Looking For
* 3–5+ years in business development, sales, or partner acquisition
* Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
* Experience with marketplaces and seller onboarding preferred
* Proficiency in Excel (formulas, graphs)
* Organised, proactive, and collaborative team player
* Degree preferred but not essential
