Electrician – Plymouth
Morson Talent are recruiting for experienced Electricians to support major projects with our Plymouth-based client. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with proven electrical and engineering expertise to apply their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.
The Role
As an Electrician, you'll be responsible for high-quality electrical installations and engineering work, including:
* Installing and terminating a range of electrical cables
* Manufacturing and installing cable support systems (tray/flat bar)
* Packing and sealing watertight glands/penetrations
* Mounting, removal, and commissioning of electrical equipment
What We're Looking For
We want to hear from electricians who can bring both technical and practical experience to the role. Ideally, you will have:
* A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
* Strong practical understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and safety standards
* Previous experience in complex engineering or industrial environments (marine/defence advantageous)
* The ability to work to a high technical standard and solve engineering problems effectively
* Eligibility to obtain SC level security clearance
What's on Offer
* 37-hour working week:
o Mon–Thu: 07:30–16:00
o Fri: 07:30–12:30
* Overtime at 1.5x after 37 hours
* 35 days annual leave including bank holidays
* Initial contract length: 4–6 months
