Job Overview
You will be joining a highly motivated team operating CNC Machines to produce various turbine products, following work instructions and adhering to company standards.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Contribute to the production team with your skills, experience, and knowledge in setting and operating CNC machines to high standards.
* Oversee machinery setup to ensure safety and readiness, load materials into machines.
* Understand engineering drawings and CMM readouts to perform various operations.
* Examine machine output to verify product quality before moving to the next production stage.
* Perform first principal gauging and CMM measurement of components, adjusting tool offsets, speed, and cutting paths as needed.
* Maintain and update records of machine operations.
* Regularly inspect machines for mechanical and safety issues.
* Work a flexible schedule to meet production demands during busy periods.
What You Bring
* Preferably completed a recognized full Level 3 apprenticeship; candidates with NVQ Level 3 or a technical engineering certificate will also be considered.
* Experience in CNC machining.
* Knowledge of Fanuc, Mazatrol, Heidenhain, Okuma controls is desirable but not essential.
* Safety-conscious attitude, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude.
