We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our Street Scene team working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday with the hours between 0730hrs and 1530hrs.
Responsibilities
* Provide maintenance and cleaning tasks across Doncaster; tasks include litter removal, bin emptying, fly tip clearance, road sweeping and weed removal works.
* Predominantly work within the fly tip team, removing fly tipped waste and assisting with the scheduled cleanse routes.
* Operate and use maintenance machinery after training to deliver services.
* Work directly in the community on sites across Doncaster, contributing to clean and safe public spaces.
Qualifications and Attributes
* Positive attitude, works well in a team, and is committed to delivering an excellent service every day.
* Experience in Street Cleansing or Waste management is beneficial but not essential for the role of Senior Street Cleansing Technician.
* A driving licence is essential.
