Join us based in the Plymouth Office, working as part of the Project Management team. You will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive Project Management across commercial, residential, public, and private sectors. Requirements;
To support and assist with the provision of project management services, including technical advice, pre and post-contract project management services.
* MCIOB qualification or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. MRICS, APM) – or working towards a professional qualification.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in consultancy project management in construction.
* Able to demonstrate experience across a number of sectors and types of projects.
* Proven experience in delivering Programs and Project management.
* Self-motivated and have the ability to set project direction aligned with business goals, inspire teams, and drive performance across multiple projects.
* Deep understanding of construction methodologies, design coordination, procurement, and contract administration.
* Skilled in budgeting, cost control, value engineering, and maximising profitability best value while delivering quality.
* Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and resolving issues before they impact timelines or budgets.
* Proficient in managing various contract forms (NEC, JCT, FIDIC, etc.) and ensuring the commercial success of projects.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
* Ability to manage complex and challenging project timelines, ensuring milestone achievement. Experience and understanding of using Asta Power Project and/or MS Project would be advantageous.
* Ensures projects adhere to regulatory standards, health & safety requirements, and internal quality benchmarks.
* Capable of leading through change—whether in scope, schedule, or resources—while maintaining team focus and morale.
* Clear, concise communicator with ability to report progress, challenges, and strategies to leadership and clients.
