Hodge Hill College is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our school for the role of Assistant Achievement Coordinator on a permanent contract. This role is key in supporting and developing our students' pastoral care and academic progress. Working closely with the Achievement Coordinator, the successful candidate will play a central role in monitoring and enhancing pastoral strategies, as well as managing the day-to-day leadership of a designated year group.
The role involves a range of responsibilities, including offering guidance and support to students, monitoring and analysing attendance, attainment, behaviour, and punctuality data, and acting as a primary contact for parents. The Assistant Achievement Coordinator will also liaise with school departments, external agencies, and parents to ensure a coordinated approach to student welfare and will play an active role in planning and delivering year group events, helping to foster the school’s dynamic community spirit.
This is a term-time only appointment plus two additional weeks to support key school events such as parent evenings and trips.
We are looking for a candidate who is committed to the education and welfare of young people, has strong communication skills, and can work effectively as part of a team. If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference in a school setting and want to contribute to a positive, supportive educational environment, we would love to hear from you.
At Hodge Hill College, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is at the heart of everything we do. The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
