Primary School Sports Coach / PE Instructor – Multi-Sport & After School Clubs

Introduction / Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Sports Coach / PE Instructor to deliver fun, engaging, and safe sports sessions for children aged 3–11 in primary schools and after-school programs. You’ll inspire young people, support the PE curriculum, and help develop confidence and teamwork through a range of sports and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality PE lessons and multi-sports sessions to primary-aged children (KS1, KS2, EYFS).
* Lead after-school clubs, breakfast clubs, holiday camps, and school enrichment activities.
* Plan, organise, and coach a variety of sports including football, rugby, netball, cricket, gymnastics, dance, and tennis.
* Ensure all activities are safe, inclusive, and engaging for all children.
* Support the school’s PE curriculum and assist in skill development.
* Maintain records, reports, and attendance for clubs and sessions.
* Promote a positive, nurturing, and motivating environment.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Experience working with primary school children / youth coaching.
* Relevant coaching qualifications such as Level 1 or Level 2 sports coaching, FA Level 1, UK Coaching awards, afPE, or equivalent.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, First Aid, and DBS compliance.
* Ability to deliver multi-sport sessions, inspire participation, and adapt activities for all abilities.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
