Package:
* Starting salary: £29,000 per annum
* Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm (NO WEEKENDS) – 42.5 hrs
Job Description:
* Carrying out vehicle maintenance and repairs, predominantly on Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and communicating issues to the workshop controller
* Conducting additional repair work as advised by managers
* Document and record repair work in line with the manufacture’s guidelines
* Develop your skills & knowledge to stay at the forefront of vehicle technology, including EV and Hybrid Vehicles
* Assist and support senior technician’s
* Ensure health and safety is always adhered to in line with company policy
* Warranty material is kept labelled and returned to the warranty dept
* Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment
* Ensure vehicles comply with industry safety standards when returned to the customer and any faults been reported and noted on the job cards.
* Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
* We are seeking a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent); however, candidates with a Level 2 qualification will be considered, provided they can demonstrate their qualifications
* Passion for all things mechanical
* Strong work ethic, with a can‑do attitude
* Positive and calm attitude in unplanned situations
* Ability to thrive and work well within a team
* Professional and courteous manner
* You must hold a full driving license to be considered for this role.
