Salary £25,989 - £28,142 per annum | Permanent | Part‑time 29.6 hours per week

Job Title – Business Support Officer Grade 5 – Supporting Pupil Access.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Business Support Officer to enhance our friendly and supportive team and contribute to the key work of the Education and Children’s Directorate.
The post is within the Pupil Access Team based at Mill 14, Lancaster LA1 3SE, providing support to operational staff and managers. You could be experienced in administration or looking to build on previous experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to operational staff and managers.
* Engage with managers, social workers, families, members of the public and team to communicate and support information needs.
* Assist in maintaining databases and records using Microsoft packages.
Qualifications
* Passion for delivering a great service and experience.
* Experience in an administration setting and knowledge of Microsoft packages and databases.
* Excellent communication skills with ability to engage and listen to individual requirements.

Working Arrangements
Working days will be discussed with the successful candidate. We currently employ a combination of office and home working. You will be required to have a suitable working space and broadband connection for non‑office days. Office days are currently Tuesday and Wednesday, but may change.
