Contract: Full-time, permanent (Shifts between 6am-7pm Monday- Friday)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join the senior kitchen team at a high-volume, multi‑outlet corporate venue. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Sous Chef who thrives in structured environments, values consistency, and standards, and enjoys developing teams across multiple food concepts.
The Role
Reporting to the Head Chef, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of several catering outlets, ensuring excellent food quality, consistency, and service delivery across the site.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations across multiple outlets.
* Maintain consistently high food standards, presentation, and portion control.
* Lead, motivate, and develop junior chefs and kitchen teams.
* Ensure full compliance with food safety, allergen management, and H\&S standards.
* Assist with menu development and GP control.
* Manage stock, ordering, and waste reduction effectively.
* Step up to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
About You
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume or multi‑outlet environment
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Exceptional knowledge of food safety, compliance, and best practice
* Organised, calm under pressure, and highly detail‑oriented.
* Confident working to corporate standards and brand guidelines
* Enthusiastic about food quality, consistency, and team development
