The Governors of Newlands School are seeking to appoint a Class Teacher from April 2026 to February 2027 who:

* Has the personal and social skills to communicate clearly and sensitively, establishing and sustaining good relationships with parents, pupils and other staff.

* Has high expectations of all pupils’ achievement and behaviour.
* Has the knowledge, enthusiasm and ability to inspire and motivate children to learn.

* Has an excellent understanding of children with severe and complex needs and how to plan for and support their learning and engagement.
The successful applicant will have experience across Primary and/or SEND settings.
