This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of ThruDark’s social and outreach presence. You’ll have a real impact on brand growth, community engagement, and revenue generation; working with a high energy, high performing team in a scale-up environment.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Head of Social and Outreach will oversee all organic social media strategy, build on existing channels, and develop underutilised platforms such as YouTube and TikTok. You will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction, professionalising reporting and insights, and actively executing social content and outreach initiatives. This role also leads our ‘ThruDark Allies Programme’, a key growth area focused on influencer and ambassador collaborations

Requirements

* Develop and implement a forward-looking organic social strategy that enhances brand presence across platforms including YouTube and TikTok focusing on engaging outdoor enthusiasts and expanding our community.
* Oversee social media content planning, community engagement, and organic growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives.
* Lead, manage, and develop the Outreach function, providing clear direction, mentoring and driving high performance.
* Drive influencer gifting, outreach, and ambassador programmes scaling activities such as the ThruDark Allies Programme, with an emphasis on measurable results and revenue attribution.
* Work closely with the content team and external agencies to create and execute creator briefs, campaigns, and influencer collaborations.
* Implement and refine processes around influencer outreach.
* Build professionalised reporting models to track campaign performance, engagement, and ROI; provide insightful analysis and recommendations to the Marketing Director.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure outreach activities align with organic and paid social strategies, brand values, and commercial goals.
* Play an active role in content creation, contributing ideas, participating in content shoots or activations, and embodying the brand voice.
* Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to continually innovate and optimise our approach.
