Rate of Pay: £34,416.00 - £36,522.00 per Annum
Summary:
This role sits within the Corporate Finance Finance Business Partnering Team, supporting schools and education payments. The Finance Payments and Admin Officer will be responsible for managing monthly school advances, processing financial data, resolving queries, and maintaining audit compliance. This is a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations in support of Enfields schools and education services.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the monthly schools advances process and provide support for education-related payments.
* Collate and submit monthly VAT returns for schools to Corporate Accountancy.
* Compile financial data for monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting.
* Respond to queries from schools, third-party organisations, and council departments.
* Provide clear advice and maintain high standards of customer service.
* Ensure audit trails and financial approvals are accurate and up to date.
* Work with internal teams and schools to streamline processes and promote automation.
Qualification:
* Maths and English minimum level 2 or equivalent
Essentials:
* Experience working in a finance-related environment delivering high-quality services.
* Strong numeracy, written communication, and Excel skills.
* Experience handling financial payments and administration.
* Proven ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
* Experience dealing with customer queries and issue resolution.
