If you’re interested in starting a career in the catering industry, our Kitchen Porter role offers a great opportunity to learn how a busy kitchen operates. You will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly each day by maintaining cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene. This includes disinfecting surfaces, utensils, and tools, as well as assisting with basic food preparation, storage, and delivery.
Key qualities for this role include the ability to follow procedures and instructions carefully, good communication skills, a neat and tidy appearance, a helpful attitude, and a flexible, reliable approach to work.
We are seeking candidates with experience working in a food environment or those holding Food Safety Level 2 certification, along with awareness of health and safety regulations and COSHH. Enthusiasm, a team-oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn will be highly valued. We support your training and development to help you grow in this role.
