Mercer Marsh Benefits – Business Development Manager (South). We are seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. The successful candidate will be based in either Bristol, Bournemouth, Chichester or London on a hybrid basis, with a requirement to work 3 days per week in the office. Mercer Marsh Benefits is a specialist in employee benefits, health insurance and workplace wellness for SMEs, domestic employers and large multinational firms.
Mercer Marsh Benefits is recruiting a talented individual to join us as a Business Development Manager.
Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand services and add value to clients.
* Manage client relationships across all levels, ensuring full scope of services and collaboration with other teams and business units.
* Oversee project management activities, including scope and budget monitoring, and communicate scope changes and financial implications effectively.
* Support complex client engagements, develop intellectual capital, and improve operational efficiencies through innovative approaches.
What you need to have
* Excellent communication skills and previous experience of managing stakeholders
* Able to effectively communicate with virtual and in-person team members
* Prior healthcare / protection experience (or both)
* Achievement and target-oriented mindset with strong relationship management skills
* Proven technical, product, and process knowledge, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & other business-related systems / dashboards
* The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
