Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of an employee-focused local authority, based in Leicestershire, which needs a Senior Property Lawyer to join their team part-time. Please find further details regarding this position below.
ROLE : Senior Property Lawyer
LOCATION : Leicestershire - hybrid
RATE : £50ph-£55ph umbrella
CONTRACT : 3 months ongoing - 17 hours a week
The responsibilities of the Senior Property Lawyer role:
1. Be responsible for providing legal advice and representation concerning commercial and residential property areas (subject to experience and relevant training) including due diligence; property transactions; regeneration projects; and compulsory purchase orders.
2. To carry out line management responsibilities in respect of the Property Legal Officer
3. Support the Head of Legal and Commercial Services to ensure legality in the Council's decision-making process and that the Council's committees
The Person:
4. A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with sound experience in Property Law
5. Property Law experience within the Public Sector is desirable
6. Someone who can work individually and as part of a team
