Accounts Assistant – West Berkshire – c£30,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and successful organisation based in West Berkshire. This permanent position offers a varied role within a supportive finance team, making it ideal for someone looking to develop their accounting career and gain exposure to a broad range of finance responsibilities.
Key responsibilities of the role will include: Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders Processing employee expenses and petty cash transactions Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies Preparing payment runs, including BACS and cheque payments Assisting with the preparation and distribution of management accounts packs Reviewing timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance Posting journals and carrying out financial analysis as required Supporting the wider finance function with ad hoc accounting duties
