Sports Teaching Assistant
Location: Travelling in and around PLYMOUTH
Salary: £88.94 per day
Hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm, 5 days per week
About the Role

We are working with schools across PLYMOUTH seeking full-time Teaching Assistants with a background in Sports. Experience supporting PE and Forest School activities is desirable.
We collaborate with a large trust that manages multiple schools including those in Plymouth, Launceston, Liskeard, and Tavistock.
Experience working with children with additional needs would be a significant advantage.
Applicants with a UK driving license and own car are preferred.
Responsibilities
* Guide students as a Teaching Assistant, offering personalised guidance and support.
* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans.
* Support outdoor education, Forest School, and PE activities.
* Foster a nurturing environment that promotes social interactions and communication skills.
* Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and implement interventions to address behaviour challenges and promote positive outcomes.
Requirements
* Effective communication skills for clear interactions.
* Applicants with a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle will be prioritised.
* Demonstrated patience, empathy, flexibility, and adaptability.
