Cargo Warehouse Supervisor
We're looking for a hands-on Cargo Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations in our busy Cargo Warehouse. You'll be driving efficiency, keeping everything safe and compliant, and motivating your team to deliver excellent service every single shift.

What you'll be doing
* Running the day-to-day warehouse operation, making sure performance targets and SLAs are hit.
* Leading, motivating, and supporting Cargo Operatives to work safely and efficiently.
* Keeping everything compliant – from customs procedures to security checks and warehouse audits.
* Managing staffing levels to meet demand, including rota planning.
* Ensuring the warehouse stays safe, tidy, and fully equipped to run smoothly.
* Delivering daily team briefings and ensuring clear communication across departments and third parties.
* Supporting training and development, from inductions to refresher sessions.
* Spotting and solving problems before they become issues.
What we're looking for
* Strong operational or supervisory experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.
* Knowledge of customs, compliance, or aviation processes (desirable but not essential – training provided).
* A natural leader who can motivate and support a team.
* A practical problem-solver who thrives in a busy, hands-on role.
* Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work shifts.

The Detail
* Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off (including early mornings, evenings, weekends & bank holidays). Shifts may vary depending on operational demand.
* Salary: £32,572.80 per annum (based on 40 hours per week).Pay award effective April 2025 will be backdated once agreed.
