Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM Monday to Friday, 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:00 AM to 12:30 PM)
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (Based on Experience)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team in Maidstone. In this role, you will be a key point of contact for our customers and internal departments, ensuring the right parts are delivered at the right time.
The successful candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of vehicle components and have a proven track record in stock management and customer service within a dealership or motor factor environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Consultation: Assist retail and trade customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories with precision.
* Inventory Control: Manage accurate records of sales, stock levels, and incoming orders to ensure maximum efficiency.
* Workshop Support: Work closely with the service and workshop teams to provide timely parts delivery, ensuring vehicle "down-time" is minimized.
* Enquiry Management: Provide expert-level professional phone and email support, managing complex enquiries and order processing.
* Operational Excellence: Oversee daily department logistics, including stock organization, core returns, and maintaining a professional workspace.
* Commercial Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell accessories and related components to enhance the customer experience and department performance.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience: Proven experience working as a Parts Advisor within the automotive industry (Dealership or Motor Factor experience preferred).
* Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for building rapport with trade and retail clients.
* Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of vehicle systems, part specifications, and electronic parts catalogues (EPC).
* Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
* IT Literacy: Proficiency in modern inventory management systems (e.g., Kerridge, Pinnacle, or similar DMS).
* Attitude: A proactive professional with a commitment to providing first-class customer service.
