Are you an experienced Site Supervisor with a passion for delivering high-quality projects? We are looking for a proactive and reliable individual to assist with the on‑site installation of buildings and provide day‑to‑day supervision for our Contracts Department.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the installation of building sections and ensure defects are rectified as necessary.
* Supervise and provide guidance to subcontractors and trades on‑site.
* Maintain the site and site accommodation in a clean, safe and presentable condition.
* Conduct Health & Safety inductions and deliver toolbox talks as required.
* Produce weekly progress reports and attend monthly progress meetings if needed.
* Act as the site safety representative and competent person on‑site.
* Liaise with clients, providing advice and ensuring strong relationships.
* Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments and method statements.
* Monitor and control site costs, ensuring plant and equipment are managed efficiently.
* Report progress, issues and variations to the Contracts Manager.
Requirements
* CSCS Card (Black or Green).
* Full and clean driving licence.
* Prepared to work away from home – the region is vast.
Desirable Criteria
* NVQ Level 6 in IPAF or PASMA.
* Experience managing sub‑contract trades.
* Fully conversant with CDM Regulations.
* Computer literate.
* Good administrative and man‑management skills.
* SMSTS qualification.
