We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Clerk of Works as a result of huge workload, and are looking for experienced Clerk of Works' to join their team.About The Client:

The Role – Clerk of Works (M3):
You will split your time across two live sites each week (3 days/2 days), focusing initially on high-quality residential and mixed-use developments within the M3/M4 corridor, the furthest being Newbury. Travel is a key part of this role (fully reimbursed).
Core duties:
• Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring contractor compliance with contract drawings, specifications, Building Regulations, and warranty standards.
• Produce concise, insightful reports using tablet-based reporting tools after each visit.
• Perform comprehensive snagging inspections pre-Practical Completion and issue defect schedules.
• Act as the client’s eyes on site, safeguarding quality and compliance throughout construction.
Who We’re Looking For:
• 5 years’ construction / technical experience (Clerk of Works, Quality Inspector, or similar).
• Strong understanding of construction methodology and contract compliance.
• Ability to interpret Building Regulations (including Part B/Approving Document B) and BS9999 standards.
• Membership of ICWCI or equivalent is advantageous.
• A proactive communicator with excellent attention to detail.
