UHS Estates Limited have an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, forward-thinking team as a Finance Assistant to the Estates, Facilities and Capital Development (EFCD) teams. Role Overview The role is 1 of 3 Finance Assistants and sits within the Compliance and Business Unit, supporting colleagues across EFCD. Key tasks include, but are not limited to, raising Purchase Orders, receipting invoices, and completing procurement documentation. With 14 Ofsted-rated “Outstanding” schools, it’s a great place to live and Detailed job description and main responsibilities Responsibilities What you’ll do: • Provide financial assistance to support EFCD management • Provide accurate reporting and variance analysis • Maintain key working relationships across the department and with external suppliers/contractors to maintain clear communication on behalf of the department What we’re looking for You will: • Have previous experience working with a range of financial and budget transactions (£25M-£45M/annum). • Be able to understand and question financial matters. • Have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and be able to communicate at different levels. • Have a proactive approach to managing workloads with the flexibility and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. • Have a high standard of IT skill, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
