What will you be doing?


Joining us as Finance Manager- Retail, you'll partner with our Retail Team by providing clear financial reports and practical insights to help guide informed decisions.

You'll provide timely analysis and assistance to our Senior Finance Manager and be responsible for a broad range of activities, including:

* Reporting and analysis on key performance drivers
* Forecasting – highlighting risks and opportunities
* Supporting delivery of period end
* Supporting the FP&A team in delivering budget and forecasts
* Produce business cases & post investment reviews (including new stores, regenerations and commercial initiatives)
* Reporting for CAPCOM
* Reviewing business performance with operational management and presenting in meetings (upto 20 people)
* Collaborating with our Retail team to optimise key commercial levers
* Building large data reporting capabilities to animate business and area performance
* Adhoc strategic business requirements

In this role, you'll be helping to support, build, and deliver against our 5-year plan strategic priorities. An opportunity to help shape our future through the provision of accurate financial analysis and decision-making support.


How will I know if I am right for this role?


We are looking for a Qualified Accountant who can bring a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.

Through your previous experience, you'll bring a strong commercial and financial acumen and be able to develop an excellent understanding of key performance drivers.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a confident communicator and able to work collaboratively within Finance and across the wider business.

This role would suit an analytical thinker who can show initiative in resolving challenges before they escalate.

Due to the nature of the role, you'll need to be highly organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You'll be able to stay calm under pressure and manage time accordingly to be able to deliver to tight deadlines.
