A Senior Contracts Engineer is required to join a major energy services organisation in Aberdeen.
In this position, you’ll support the development and negotiation of client agreements across a diverse portfolio, ensuring contracts are commercially balanced, clearly defined, and aligned with operational delivery. Your work will focus mainly on pre‑award activity—reviewing terms, preparing qualification strategies, and guiding stakeholders through key risks—while offering light post‑award support where clarification or minor amendments are required.
You’ll collaborate closely with commercial, legal, and operational teams, helping shape proposals, assess contract models, and ensure scopes, pricing structures, and obligations accurately reflect the intended service delivery. Your insight will support strong commercial governance and consistent contractual standards across the business.
To succeed, you’ll bring solid experience in contract review and negotiation, strong analytical capability, and confidence working with liability frameworks, indemnities, and sector‑specific contracting approaches. A degree in Law, Business, or similar is preferred, with additional commercial qualifications viewed favourably.
This role offers a competitive package that includes hybrid working, opportunities for ongoing development, and the chance to contribute to an organisation that values clarity, strong commercial practice, and collaborative working.
