About the role
* Lead the delivery and development of an integrated substance misuse service, working closely with the Management team including Team Leaders, clinicians and a committed staff team
* Provide line management, supervision and leadership to achieve continually high performing outcomes in line with service and contractual arrangements
* Provide a constant stimulus for improving and innovating current services, creating and facilitating a learning culture that engages with diversity
* Take responsibility for personal development and participate in regular supervision and appraisal, working flexibly across a number of operational sites as required
* Ensure high quality services are delivered consistently and adhere to best practice guidelines
About you
* Excellent communication and engagement skills, experience leading and supervising staff, and ability to work well under pressure to deliver high quality services
* Considerable experience at a management level within substance misuse services, including alcohol and criminal justice, with a clear understanding of the need to deliver quality services
* Knowledge of recovery pathways across whole treatment and recovery systems, including community, residential and prison provision
* Capacity to work alone and keep calm under pressure
