System Admin/Kubernetes Engineer
You will be responsible for:
* Working onsite as part of a team supporting the detailed development and implementation of scalable clustered Big Data solutions, focusing on automated dynamic scaling and self‑healing systems.

Responsibilities
* Implement parts or all of the technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design.
* Occasionally provide a detailed technical design for enterprise solutions.
* Understand a broad spectrum of company technology to provide a detailed technical design that meets customer requirements.
* Lead small to medium technical projects.
* Work with and under the direction of the Project/Technical Manager and customer‑nominated representatives.
* Liaise with Solutions Architect as appropriate.
* Provide technical support and input on the application of technology to a defined business segment.
* Provide advice on solution and integration opportunities to defined segments.
* Provide technical leadership on specific integration activities that are part of an engagement.
* Provide planning and design support for the development of solution architectures to be implemented in a multiple‑system environment.
* Communicate across the client community and add value.
* Demonstrate execution of the company strategy.
* Contribute to knowledge tools and communities, ensuring project learnings are documented and shared.
* Model knowledge sharing and re‑use within practice or profession.
* Encourage membership and contributions of others to professional community, meeting relevant certification and professional standards.
* Produce internally published material such as knowledge briefs and service delivery kit components.
* Participate in the selling process in C&I and work with sales/principals on pre‑sales activities.
Education and Experience Required
* 5+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area; or, without a degree, an additional 3 years of relevant experience (8+ years total).
Knowledge and Skills
* Experience supporting Kubernetes solutions that automate deployment, scaling and management of containerised applications.
* Experience working in the UK Public Sector.
* Experience dealing with highly secure solutions and networks.
* Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be independently responsible for design and scope of deliverables.
* Experience leading a small team to deliver a specific deliverable.
* Mastered at least one technical discipline with strong knowledge in at least three major technology areas.
* Advanced level of business, technical or functional knowledge.
* Ability to resolve issues arising from product combinations and interactions.
* Ability to apply technology and consulting to solve a client business problem.
* Effective communication and presentation of complex issues with confidence.
* Demonstrates consulting skills, including questioning, listening, idea development, rapport and influencing.
* Ability to conduct and lead oral status/technical meetings with clients on small to medium engagements.
* Owns and produces customer documentation, translating technical details into concise written form.
* Translates verbal requirements into requirements documents, statements of work and proposals.
* Discusses requirements with a customer, challenges and clarifies when appropriate, develops high‑level design or plan, estimates effort, and advises on risks.
* Works with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and reports/documentation for delivery.

* Must hold National Security Clearance Level 04 Developed Vetting (DV) – UKIC.
* We are looking for high achievers eligible to work in the UK.
* The role will be based on the client site; there is no remote or hybrid work.
