About the Role

Location United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Worcestershire Worcester Remote vs. Office Office/Site only Company Materials Solutions Limited Organization Gas Services Business Unit Distributed Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Not defined A Snapshot of Your DayAs an Additive Manufacturing (AM) Print Process Technician, you will support the production of high-quality metal components using laser powder bed fusion technology. Based at our Materials Solutions site in Worcester, your day will involve operating and maintaining industrial 3D printing equipment, preparing materials, monitoring print quality, and resolving issues during the printing process. Working closely with engineers and technicians, you will play a key role in ensuring consistent, safe, and efficient additive manufacturing operations.How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Operate and monitor additive manufacturing (3D printing) equipment to produce high-quality metal components.
2. Prepare, load, and manage materials in line with process and safety requirements.
3. Monitor print builds to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
4. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and basic fault diagnosis on AM machines.
5. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve printing or process-related issues.
6. Inspect printed parts to confirm conformance to quality standards.
7. Accurately record build data, issues, and outcomes to support traceability and continuous improvement.
8. Work with engineering and process teams to optimise printing parameters and improve performance.
9. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with health and safety standards.
What You Bring
10. Experience operating industrial 3D printing or additive manufacturing equipment.
11. Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
12. High attention to detail and ability to work to precise specifications.
13. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
14. Comfortable working in a production or manufacturing environment.
15. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
16. Familiarity with CAD software or 3D modelling tools is advantageous.
17. Willingness to follow strict safety procedures and quality standards.
